Minister ‘impressed’ during visit to Carrick school
The Democratic Unionist Party representative met with Principal Joanne Lyons, members of the Sunnylands Avenue school’s Board of Governors and a number of other delegates.
The Minister toured the school including playrooms, sensory room and library. He was also shown the new outdoor learning area.

Hide AdCommenting on the Strangford MLA’s visit, a spokesperson for the Department of Education said: “I can confirm that the Minister had a very enjoyable visit and was very impressed with the school, staff and pupils and with the lovely atmosphere and ethos of the school.”
