Ballymena tops the call-out table when it comes to pesky pests
According to the latest survey by the British Pest Control Association’s (BPCA), Ballymena has more pest call-outs per head of population than any other local authority area in the province.
BPCA’s 2013 skin crawling survey statistics reveal that Ballymena, with a population of 64,044, topped the call-out table and was even ahead of Belfast (population 280,962). The borough also had the highest call-out tally for pesky creepy crawlies like ants.
The BPCA survey analyses the demand for pest control across all 406 local authorities in the UK over a 12-month period.
