Convicted of benefit fraud
A woman was convicted at Craigavon Magistrates’ Court last week for claiming benefits she not entitled to.
Aisling Lowe (24) of Collingwood Avenue, Lurgan claimed Jobseekers Allowance totalling £924 while failing to declare employment. She was given a four month prison sentence suspended for two years.
She is also required to repay any outstanding money wrongfully obtained to the Social Security Agency.
