Dearth of totplaces in city
PRESSURE on nursery places is greater in Londonderry than anywhere else in Northern Ireland with only four unfilled places left for the forthcoming academic year 2012/13.
Nearly everywhere else barring North Down (eight unfilled places) and East Belfast (nine unfilled places) the surplus is well into double figures.
But in Londonderry there are hardly any new extra places left for nursery age children requiring their first school place.
