Discretionary disposal for theft
Last Saturday afternoon (April 30), police stopped a woman suspected of the theft of shoes from a store in Lisburn.
The female was stopped by police for theft of two pairs of shoes after Citywatch CCTV staff in Lisburn received a report that the woman had concealed the shoes in a bag.
The police were then informed by the CCTV operators and directed to the female, who was stopped a short distance from the store.
The woman admitted the offence and the items were recovered.
As the items had been recovered, she was dealt with by way of a Discretionary Disposal.
