Dromore plan in council’s hands

It was a return to Dromore for the minister, whose earlier visits have included local charity Via Wings and the new Dromore primary school site - this in his previous capacity as Chair of the Stormont Education Committee , in response to the school’s ongoing campaign for additional classroom provision.
Latterly, Mr Storey visited town for the launch of public consultation on the draft Masterplan.
Among those to speak to the minister during last week’s visit was party colleague and Lagan Valley MLA Brenda Hale, who said: “I look forward to working with the Minister, the Council Chief Executive Roger Wilson and local councillors as they seek to see the vision envisaged in the Masterplan take shape in the coming years.
