Drugs seized in Operation Torus
During the operation, which ran from February 25 until March 16, 108 house searches and 95 arrests were made in E District, which includes Banbridge.
Detective Chief Inspector Stephen Wright, E District crime manager, said: “Operation Torus has allowed us to remove a substantial quantity of drugs from circulation and we will continue to target those involved in the sale and supply of illegal drugs.

Hide Ad“We conducted more than 90 searches during the operation which demonstrates how insidious the problem of drugs is. We will continue to work with communities and partner agencies to educate our young people.

Suspected drugs found during searches have included cannabis, cocaine, mephedrone and prescription drugs.
