Katy, 16 stars in Wonderland
The 16-year-old will be starring in the lead role as the “Cheshire Cat” in Belfast School of Performing Art’s show which will take place on Saturday February 22.
Katy, a pupil of Larne Grammar School will be performing to an audience of 700 people.

Hide AdKaty has been involved with musical theatre from a very young age. She played the principal role of “Maureen” in “Honk!” as well as “Mrs Pugh” in “Annie” at Belfast’s Grand Opera House.
Last August, Katy performed in the Belfast School of Performing Art’s sell-out production of “Les Miserables” in the MAC theatre, Belfast playing the role of a ‘lovely lady’. She hopes to participate in the drama school’s upcoming production of “Miss Saigon” this summer.
She travels from Islandmagee every Saturday to BSPA on the Cregagh Road, in Belfast for a three-hour class and is believed to enjoy every minute of performing.

Hide AdAlso taking part will be Larne BSPA pupils Tait Brennan and Sam Johnston, both aged eight, who will also be performing in the show as “Wonderland” characters.
Tait will be performing her first solo performance with the school as well as accompanying the “Caterpillar” in her performance. Sam has recently performed in “A Christmas Carol” in the Grand Opera House, Belfast, in which he was part of the child cast in November.
