Landmark building transformed by development grant
Mervyn Storey has congratulated all those involved in the restoration of the once derelict corner building which now houses Anne Shiels Jewellers.
“I would like to pay tribute to all those involved in restoring this landmark building which sits at the heart of Ballymoney, and in particular to Roy and Anne Shiels for making a significant personal contribution to the revitalisation by bringing their business to the local people,” Mr Storey said.
A £75,000 urban development grant from the DSD – used for promoting job creation by developing derelict or under-used land or buildings in priority areas – assisted the project.
