When charged with no insurance he told police he had made a “silly mistake”.
A defence solicitor told the court Healy - a plasterer - was insured to drive his own car and mistakenly believed this covered him to drive his wife’s.
The solicitor said it had been a “misunderstanding”.
Healy was fined a total of 210 and was given three penalty points.
