Man is charged with attempted murder following stabbing incident
Police have charged a 31-year-old man with attempted murder in connection with a stabbing incident in the Abercorn Park area of Portadown yesterday (Wednesday).
The man has also been charged with possession of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an indictable offence.
He is due to appear at Craigavon Magistrates’ Court tomorrow, Friday, 6 May.
As is normal procedure all charges will be reviewed by the PPS.
