MLA disappointed at arrest of second Limavady Sinn Féin councillor
Mr Ó hOisín said: “I am disappointed that the PSNI have chosen once again to mount a high-profile arrest operation of a local councillor.
“Sean McGlinchey’s solicitor contacted the PSNI stating that his client would present himself voluntarily to answer any questions following the arrest of another Sinn Féin councillor last week on the most spurious of grounds.”

Councillor McCaul – a member of the Limavady Policing and Community Safety Partnership – said he has a great relationship with local police.
Following his arrest Mr McCaul said: “I want the PSNI to come out and say ‘this man has no involvement in parliamentary activity’ because I really am baffled.”
