‘Outstanding achievements’ for Banbridge Academy GCSE pupils
Of the 192 pupils who sat GCSE examinations this year, 55.4% of all entries resulted in the top grades A*/A, and when B Grades are included this figure rises to 82.9%.
97.4 % gained 5 passes at A*-C, including English and Mathematics, while the overall pass rate of 96.1% confirms that all of our pupils have worked extremely hard to fulfil their potential.

A very impressive total of 49 pupils, over a quarter of the year group, obtained 9 A* or A Grades in 9 or more subjects.
Principal Robin McLoughlin said: “These results were produced by the talent, industry and commitment of our pupils, supported and encouraged by parents who today can feel justifiably proud of these accomplishments.
“We are delighted for all our pupils as these results reflect tremendous strength: we congratulate our young people on their outstanding achievements and wish them well for the future.”
