The Inner City Preservation Trust has applied for a Listed Building Consent to convert the Northern Counties building into a 31 bed hotel.

The application - relating to the Bishop Street property - is to provide a new 31 bed hotel, restaurant with associated facilities.

The building was a private members club remodelled by Alfred Foreman in 1902.
