Darren rises to Ultra challenge
On a tough hilly course, in very warm conditions, Darren ran a Fantastic time of 5 hours and 35 minutes, finishing in second place, describing the race as one of his toughest yet, having completed four marathons in four days in Donegal in 2013. Congratulations to Darren on another magnificent achievement.
Lisburn Half Marathon- three Magherafelt Harriers travelled to Lisburn last Wednesday evening to take part in the Lisburn Half Marathon. With close to one thousand runners for company and on a very warm evening, our three athletes had strong runs.

Run For The Hills- Adrian Ferson travelled to Pomeroy on Saturday to take part in an off road obstacle race, which takes you through bogs, over walls and many other interesting obstacles.
Adrian managed to finish unscathed and enjoyed every minute of the race.
Run/ BBQ- Magherafelt Harriers are holding their anual four mile run and BBQ on Thursday 3rd of July at Rainey Rugby Club, registration at 7pm with race start at 7.30pm. £3 for all taking part.

Hide AdMagherafelt Harriers would like all members to take part and enjoy the BBQ afterwards, which gives club members a chance to reflect on a very successful first year as a club.
Training continues from Rainey Rugby Club on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6.30pm and Sunday morning at 8.30am.
