The second period saw Coleraine take the upper hand and they equalised 10 minutes in. The visitors went ahead midway through the half with an excellent individual strike.

The joy was shortlived for Glenavon when in the final minute Coleraine scored controversially.
In the end it was gut wrenching to lose out in those circumstances however the effort and determination of the young Glenavon side was heartening.
