Lisburn Distillery manager Tommy Kincaid has tipped goalkeeper Ryan McBride for the top after the 20 year-old stopper kept his seventh clean sheet of the season.

Last season’s Young Player of the Year at the club has impressed again this season and Kincaid reckons he will become a big name in the Irish League for years to come.

“Ryan’s a smashing talent,” said Kincaid.

“He gets better and better with every game. He pulled off a couple of great saves in the second half on Saturday to keep us on top.

“He really does have a great Irish League future ahead of him. He’s enjoying his football here and he has a great goalkeeping coach to work with in Glen Johnston. Glen has been absolutely brilliant with Ryan and is really bringing him on.”
