Can you help Daley realise his racing dream?
It wasn’t long before the young man realised that if he was to become a star name in road racing he would have to come to the home of road racing, Ireland.
He is now a resident of Moira, working full time as a car body repairer, but he is never happier than when he swings his leg over a motorcycle and is racing in anger. In 2012 Mathison is hoping to move his career on a step by taking part in the most high profile road race, the infamous, Isle of Man TT.

Hide AdIn order to get to the TT Mathison will have to compete in the early road races of the season both in Ireland and England to prove he has enough experience to take on the challenge of the Mountain course, this of course will not be a cheap challenge and therefore for 2012 Mathison is planning on starting the season early with a Fundraising Night in Pretty Mary’s in Moira, on Friday, March 2, hosted by his Supporters Club. The evening will include live music, a quiz, an auction, a raffle and much more, all for just £5 admission. The supporters club will also be on hand for anyone wanting to join, where for £30, you will get a supporters club t-shirt, signed photograph of Daley, key ring and membership card. Plus all members are entered into an exclusive end of season draw!
Mathison has been competing in the Irish Road Racing Championships for the past couple of seasons on the D&G Wray 250 Honda with good solid points scoring finishes taking him to 8th place in the Championship. However for 2012 he is looking for a new challenge in the form of the TT.
