SWIMMING: Volunteer Star Awards for swimming stalwarts
SWIM Ulster, the governing body for aquatic sports in Northern Ireland, celebrated the contribution of their volunteers with a special awards event at Queen's University's Physical Education Centre.
As part of Volunteers' Week thirty of the most committed swimming volunteers were presented with awards.
Delivering a busy competition programme for 4,000 swimmers in 40 clubs requires an intensive volunteer input.
